Discs or sidepulls?
This is photo was sent to me from one of my friends in Colorado. This was up near Breckenridge. They have just opened some new bike paths. I love the warning sign on this trail. Very bike friendly these Coloradoans. I was just wonduring if at the end of this trail is there a sand pit if you have brake failure?
Well, I've been on that kind of descent, but the picture was a semi, not a bike. Cantis.

ReplyDeleteBack in 1981 descending Monarch Pass on my Univega with loaded panniers and equipped with DiaComp centerpulls, I passed 4 cars. I remember my legs shaking as I pedaled past them.
ReplyDeleteBetter still a few days later, blasting down Trail Ridge road in Rocky Mtn N.P., I passed six cars and two Harley Davidsons. The last car I passed was a Ford Pinto and it tried to chase me down, but I was faster! Yeehaw!
